Class

Class in the menu shows what the school has assigned you for the current academic year.

Class

  • Class Teacher Assignments lists the class and section you are the class teacher of. A class teacher takes the register, writes report comments, assesses behaviour and can message the parents.
  • Subject Assignments lists each class and subject you teach, and whether it is for the Whole class or only some sections. Those are the ones you enter marks, plan lessons and set homework for.

If something is missing or wrong, the school office changes it (see the School Admin manual, "Class teachers and subject teachers"). You cannot change your own assignments.

Timetable

Timetable shows your lessons for the week, one column for each day and one row for each period, with its time.

My Timetable

  • My lessons shows only your own lessons: the class and the subject in each period.
  • Whole class (for a class teacher) shows the whole class's timetable, so you can see every subject your class has, and who teaches it.

If a period is empty, you have no lesson then. The timetable is made by the school office. If it is wrong, tell them.

If something goes wrong

What you see What it means and what to do
The timetable is empty The office has not made the timetable yet, or you have no subject assignments.
Class shows no class teacher assignment You are not the class teacher of a class this year, so attendance and report comments are not in your menu.
A class or subject is missing Ask the office to add it in Subject Assignments.
